WESTFIELD – Allan J. Sanders, 69, (1952 – 2022) passed away at home on Tuesday, June 28, 2022. He was born in Neenah, Wisconsin to the late Leroy and Joan (Kufner) Sanders. Allan served his country in the United States Navy during Vietnam from 1972-1976 and received the Vietnam Service Medal with one bronze star. He loved cars and vintage military items. Allan was an avid watcher of the History Channel and was a proud member of the American Legion in Westfield.
Sadly, Allan was predeceased by his beloved wife of 43 years, Gertrudes (Ortiz) Sanders on October 29, 2019, a son Michael J. Sanders in 2000, and a brother Brian Sanders.
He is survived by his loving son, Richard A. Sanders and his wife Rita of Westfield, his sister Camie Sanders of Neenah, Wisconsin, brothers, Gerald Sanders and his wife Yvonne of Appleton, Wisconsin, Craig Sanders and his wife Sumiko, Jimmy Sanders of South Carolina, and Scott Sanders and Cindy Nowlin of South Carolina, and his cherished grandchildren, Jordyn, Sydney, Michael and Leon, and his aunt Janet Warner.
