WESTFIELD – Monica C. Prystowski, “Monie,” (1924-2023) born February 9th, 1924, passed away peacefully in the presence of her family. Monica is predeceased by her parents Frank and Stefania Prystowski and her siblings Chester, Nellie, Helen, and Stacia.
Monica was born and raised in Westfield and was a graduate of Westfield High School. She worked and retired from Westfield State College Business Office.
Monica leaves behind her nephew John (Betty) Prystowski, Sr. Her two great-nephews John Prystowski, Jr. (Ellie Mathias), and James (Erin) Prystowski. She also leaves behind her great-great-nephews and nieces Josh and Jacob Prystowski and Maggie and Ryan Prystowski, whom she loved very much.
Monica loved animals, especially cats, and had many over the years. She enjoyed feeding the birds and squirrels in her yard. Monica had a love for politics and read many books about United States politicians. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Services for Monica were private per her request. Funeral services were at Firtion Adams, and burial was at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
