WESTFIELD – Ann Luise Szymanski, 77, (1946–2023) passed away peacefully on September 25th, 2023 after dealing with lung cancer for the past 2 years.
Ann was born in Westfield MA on September 22nd, 1946 to Anna F. (Sedor) and Charles A. Szymanski. She was their only child. She graduated from Westfield High School, Class of ’64 and worked for many years for Old Colony Envelope Co. Ann traveled extensively from a young age until her health started to fail. Africa was one of her favorite destinations and she loved giraffes.
She is survived by her caregivers; her cousin Carolyn Cortis, Bruce Cortis and Kelly Cortis Larcheveque.
She also leaves numerous friends and cousins who will miss her dearly.
FIRTION ADAMS FUNERAL HOME, 76 BROAD STREET, WESTFIELD, MA is in charge of arrangements. Calling hours are Saturday, September 30th, 9-11 a.m., followed by a funeral service and burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Westfield.
