COLCHESTER, CT – Beverly Zapert, 82, of Colchester CT, passed away suddenly on December 12th, 2023.
Beverly was born on March 9th, 1941 to Ian Alexander McLean and Anna Balukonis McLean in Springfield MA. After graduating from St. Mary’s High School in 1958, she went on to work at Stanley Home Products, Westfield State College; ultimately retiring from the Sarasota Sheriff’s Department. She was active with her local Catholic church and loved the theater.
Beverly was predeceased by her brothers Donald and Ian McLean.
She is survived by her daughter Lisa (Zapert) Shea and son-in-law, Thomas Bjorkland; son, Tyler Zapert, and former husband Richard Zapert, as well as many nieces and nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held in the future.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Salvation Army or the American Red Cross.
