WESTFIELD – Geraldine M. Olinski, 73, of Westfield, MA, passed away after a long battle with dementia on May 16th, 2024, at Bear Mountain Nursing Home in West Springfield, MA. She was born on January 16th, 1951, in Westfield, MA.
Geraldine, known to her loved ones and friends as Gerry, was a beloved individual who had a passion for music, especially Elvis, dancing, and cooking for her friends and family. Gerry was an extremely caring and giving person. She absolutely adored her nieces and nephew greatly. She was a huge fan of the New England Patriots and watched every game.
She is survived by her sister Barbara Lally of ZephyrHills, Florida and her husband Gerald, nephew Gerald Lally, Jr. of Westfield and his wife Annette, niece Kim Peters of Westfield and her husband Chris, great-nieces Courtney Czeremcha, Stephanie Lally and Kristen Lally. She leaves behind many more relatives and friends.
Gerry was preceded in death by her parents Barbara and Stanley Olinski, her brother Stanley, as well as the love of her life Ronny Iserman.
Gerry was an extremely hard worker and dedicated many years of her life to her career at Old Colony Envelope Company and the City Hotel as a bartender.
Calling hours for Gerry will be held on Friday, May 24th at Firtion-Adams Funeral Home in Westfield, MA, from 4-6 p.m. A private burial held by the family will be at a later time.
