William Joseph Daudelin

WESTFIELD – William Joseph Daudelin, 65, passed away the evening of November 22nd, 2024, at Baystate Medical ICU in Springfield MA.

The eldest of five children born on February 17th, 1959, in Holyoke MA, to Annette Cecile Daudelin and Albert Joseph Daudelin.

Bill grew up in Holyoke MA. He attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help School during his grammar school years. He went on to graduate from Holyoke High School in 1977 where he was a member of the track and football teams. He worked for various printing companies as a printer-press operator after high school with his last place of employment at Hadley Printing.

Bill enjoyed many happy times with family and friends and had a way of accepting anyone for who they were. He may not have had much but he had a huge compassionate heart and was a beautiful part of our family.

Bill was predeceased by his mother, Annette Daudelin and nephew Matthew Zalucki.

He leaves behind his father, Albert Daudelin (Westfield); sisters, Alice Mitchell (Westfield), Suzanne Zalucki and her husband Jerry (Westfield), Betty Daudelin and her wife Patricia Blomquist (Springfield), and Nancy White and her husband Keith (Chicopee). He also leaves behind three nephews and two nieces who he loved so dearly.

Bill had a deep appreciation of music and was a very talented drummer. He was an avid sports fan enjoying many Celtics, Bruins, Patriots and Red Sox games. He was always happiest when surrounded by family and friends.

He had an infectious smile and loved to have good times. He was best known by his old friends as Billy Kool-Mild back in the day.

The loss of Bill has left a large void in our family. He will be dearly missed by all.

RIP Bill.
