WESTFIELD – Sally (Evans) Barry, 69, of Westfield died Friday July 13, 2012 in Noble Hospital. She was born in Rumford, Maine to Harold and Ruth (Kidder) Evans and has lived in Westfield for the past forty-one years.
Sally graduated from Livermore Falls High School in Maine, the University of Maine at Orono, and received her Master of Education from Westfield State College. She was a pediatric nursing instructor throughout her forty-year career, retiring in 2004 from STCC. Sally was happiest sharing her love of cooking, took a keen interest in the Westfield Historical Society, and was an avid reader.
She leaves her husband of thirty-nine years, David L. Barry, of Westfield and two daughters, Heidi B. Perez and her husband Christian of Methuen, Robyn A. Martin and her husband Christopher of Marlborough, and her grandchildren, Christian and Eva Perez and Chloe and Charlotte Martin.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 19, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 16 Court Street, Westfield. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours are omitted.
