WESTFIELD – Joseph E. Mayberry, 46, of Easthampton passed suddenly on Friday, December 28, 2012. Born in Westfield, he was a 1985 graduate of Westfield Vocational Technical High School.
Joseph is leaving behind his son, Joseph Heath of Westfield and his beloved wife Anne (Steben) Mayberry and her two daughters, Karissa Drumm and Courtney Campbell and her son, Jacob Campbell; his mother, Theresa (Taudel) Black and step-father, Francis Black of Westfield; his father, Donald Mayberry of Spring Hill, FL; three sisters, Janice Mayberry and Veronica Mayberry, both of Westfield and Vanessa Anamisis of Salem, NH, and two step-brothers, Robert Black of Westfield, and Dwayne Black of West Springfield, and a step-sister, Roxanne Black of Westfield, and several nieces and nephews.
Joseph was employed for the last thirteen years at ISO-New England Co. of Holyoke as a computer technician, and was employed at Michael’s Towing of Westfield. Joseph extended friendliness and humor to everyone who came into his life. He was a member of the APA Pool League, an avid NASCAR enthusiast, and loved his GTO, and was a member of the GTO Club. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with friends and family. He had a magnetic laugh and a smile. He is loved and will be missed by many.
His funeral will be held on Friday, January 4th from the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
