WESTFIELD – Karen A. Terrell, 67, of Westfield died on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Baystate Medical Center. She was born in Springfield on March 3, 1945, a daughter of the late Douglas F. and Enid M. (LaCroix) Terrell.Karen was a graduate of Agawam High School, Burbank Hospital School of Practical Nursing in Fitchburg, Westfield State University, and received her RN from the State University of New York, (SUNY) Albany, NY. Karen worked for many years as a Registered Nurse, especially in the field of Hospice Care with the Springfield VNA and many in home care agencies.
She is survived by her sister, Gaye Angell and her husband George of Southwick; her dear nephew, Shawn P. Angell and his wife Dawn of Springfield; three great nieces, Nadia, Olivia, and Sophia, and great-nephew, Ruslan. She also leaves two wonderful friends, Anne Marie Ferraro and Helen O’Connell, both of Springfield.
All services are private at the convenience of the family. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
