WESTFIELD – Elizabeth H. “Bettie” Forrish, 89, died Thursday, January 10, 2013 in Agawam. She was born in Russell, MA, the daughter of the late Joseph Forrish and Stefania Gorski.
A graduate of Westfield High School, class of 1941, she worked for many years as an assistant bookkeeper, and later was a billing clerk at the Westfield Gas and Electric Light Co., from where she retired. She was predeceased by her siblings, Virginia S. Forrish, Stephanie E. Long, and Joseph F. Forrish. She was artistically inclined, and well traveled, including England, Russia, Finland and Australia. She leaves four nephews, a niece and several cousins.
The funeral will be Tuesday, January 15, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. at Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield. Calling hours will precede the service from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home
