WESTFIELD – Bertha R. (Kmiec) Pianka, 88, of Westfield died Thursday, February 14, 2013 in Westfield. She was born in Ludlow on September 3, 1924 and was a longtime Westfield resident.
Bertha was a communicant of Holy Trinity Church in Westfield and enjoyed antiquing.
She was the widow of Chester S. Pianka who died on September 23, 1986. She leaves a brother, John Kmiec of Chicopee; a sister, Phyllis Zalesky of California and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Kmiec.
The funeral will be Wednesday, February 20th at 11:00 a.m. at Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield, with burial to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Westfield. Calling hours are omitted.
