WESTFIELD – Kathleen J. (Gorman) Hart, 73, died Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at home. She was born in Westfield to the late Thomas and Kathleen Gorman and was a graduate of Westfield High School.Kathleen was employed by Hamilton Standard as an inspector for over 10 years and most recently for MEI in Agawam for over 5 years in the shipping department. She lived on the lakes in Southwick most of her life loved boating and being on the water. She had a green thumb like nobody else, her flower gardens are always so beautiful, she was in them everyday. Come winter she loved to ski and would always take her kids to Mt. Snow on ski trips. When she retired she and Bruce were able to travel to Europe, Las Vegas and Florida.
Kathleen leaves her significant other, Bruce Allard of Westfield and her precious dog, Maggie; her son, Jeffrey L. Hart and his wife Wendy and her son, Garrett of Southwick and her daughter, Katherine Ann Hart and her significant other Lance Bangs and her one and only grandson, Eric Szymkiewicz and her ex-son-in-law who was like her own son, Todd Szymkiewicz. She also leaves all her best friends up at Liberty Manor who she couldn’t go a day without, she loved them all!
There are no calling hours. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at her daughter’s home at 526 Southwick Road, Westfield.
