I wholeheartedly agree with the two PulseLine entries about the water balloon assaulter. They should lock up that 17 year old vicious criminal and throw away the key! He’ll always be “no good” and deserves what he gets for that horrific crime. My question is: When the medals were being handed out the other night for the Westfield Police Department, why didn’t the officer who brought that water balloon assaulter to court receive some type of award? I mean, come on, meritorious conduct, bravery under fire, courage above and beyond the call of duty, something! I’ll tell you one thing, though: I’ll be calling 911 the next time I’m shot with a squirt gun as the officers at the Westfield Police Department know their priorities and when a terrible crime has been committed. I’m hoping against that brutal assault this summer as I may be so traumatized by the event that I file for disability payments for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Have a safe day.
