Cristobal Ortiz, 24, of 49 Jefferson St., submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for three months. He was assessed $50.
Paul R. Housand, 20, of 91 Walnut St., Agawam, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant guilty findings for charges of operating a motor vehicle with suspended license and negligent operation of a motor vehicle brought by Westfield police and the charges were continued without a finding with probation for six months. He was assessed $300. In a separate case also brought by Westfield police, Housand again submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of operating a motor vehicle with suspended license and that charge was also continued without a finding with probation for six months. He was assessed $50 and found to be responsible for a charge of failure to stop or yield.
In three separate cases brought by Westfield police, Beverly A. Tomasini, 45, of 5 Noble Ave., was arraigned on charges of conspiracy to violate drug laws and in each case was released on $1,000 personal surety pending an Oct. 11 hearing. In one of the cases Tomasini was also arraigned on a charge of distribution of a Class B drug.
William F. Hauschild Jr., 44, of 652B Russell Road, was released on his personal recognizance pending a Sept. 13 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of assault and wbattery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon brought by Westfield police.
Dimitriy Stepanchuk, 17, of 126 Otis St., was released on his personal recognizance pending an Oct. 11 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle brought by Westfield police.
Anthony Rivera, 31, of 77 Longhill St., Springfield, saw a charge of assault and battery brought by Westfield police not prosecuted when the Commonwealth was unable to locate the victim.
Michael D. Leblanc Jr., 25, of 13 Lakeshore Drive, Southwick, saw a charge of assault and battery brought by Southwick police dismissed at the request of the victim.
Nicholas Sikand, 35, of 22 Matthew Road, Southwick, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of assault and battery brought by Southwick police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for six months. He was assessed $50.
Adam Conrad, 22, of 130 North Road, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant guilty findings for charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, failure to stop for police, resisting arrest, violation of an abuse prevention order and intimidating a witness brought by Westfield police and the charges were continued without a finding with probation for one year. He pleaded guilty to a second charge of violation of an abuse prevention order and was placed on probation for one year. He was found to be responsible for a charge of speeding in violation of special regulations and for a marked lanes violation and was assessed $100.
