Christopher Bovat, 28, of 9 Jefferson St., submitted to facts sufficient to warrant guilty findings for charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle and failure to stop for police brought by Westfield police and the charges were continued without a finding with probation for one year. He was assessed $300 and found to be not responsible for a marked lanes violation.
Devon Florek, 17, of 8 Curtis Road, Southwick, saw a charge of operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration and a motor vehicle lights violation brought by Southwick police not prosecuted.
Shannon R. Pepin, 31, of 406 Holyoke Road, was released on her personal recognizance pending an Oct. 25 hearing after she was arraigned on charges of breaking and entering in the nighttime with intent to commit a felony and larceny of property valued more than $250 brought by Westfield police. In a second case also brought by Westfield police, Pepin was arraigned on the same charges and was again released on her personal recognizance pending an Oct. 25 hearing.
Nicholas E. Labombard, 23, of 2751 Cold Spring Road, Otis, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant guilty findings for charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor and leaving the scene of a property damage accident brought by Southwick police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for one year. He was assessed $600, ordered to complete a Drug Alcohol Education Program at a cost of $567.22 and his license was suspended for 45 days. A charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle was not prosecuted.
Merle R. Crump, 73, of 20 Russell Road, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor brought by State Police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for one year. He was assessed $600, ordered to complete a Drug Alcohol Education Program at a cost of $567.22, his license was suspended for 45 days and he was ordered to pay restitution of $170. He was found to be not responsible for a marked lanes violation.
Kathryn Tingley, 29, of 52 Tina Lane, Feeding Hills, was released on her personal recognizance pending an Oct. 13 hearing after she was arraigned on charges of operating an uninsured motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, speeding in violation of special regulations and a license plate violation to conceal identification brought by Granville police.
Jorge Vellon-Rivas, 38, of 161 Bailey St., Lawrence, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of larceny of property valued more than $250 by a single scheme brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for one year. He was assessed $90 and ordered to pay restitution of $2,581.70. In a second case with the same charge also brought by Westfield police, Vellon-Rivas again submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for the charge and that charge was also continued without a finding with probation for one year. He was again assessed $90 and ordered to pay restitution of $2,754.25.
