McKenna was born in Holyoke 56 years ago.She graduated from Westfield High School in 1974. She also graduated from Western Mass Hospital School of Nursing and worked at Baystate Medical Center as an LPN. She resided in Naples Florida for the past several years. Kathy passed away at Physicians Regional Hospital, Naples FL.
Kathy leaves behind to mourn her passing her daughter, Shannon McKenna; her parents, Mary (Sisty) and Bob McKenna. She also leaves behind her brother, Kevin and his partner Ron Chateauneuf; her sister, Sheila and husband Chris Chaban and their two children Jonah and McKenzie. Not to be forgotten, her broken hearted dog Daisy.
Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her sister, Mary-Beth who died in 1974. Calling hours are omitted, burial at the convenience of the family.
