7:16 a.m.: disturbance, intersection of Notre Dame and North Elm streets, officer reports a road rage incident, two motorists involved in a verbal confrontation over an unsafe lane change, verbal warnings issued, peace restored;
8:38 a.m.: vandalism, 7B’s Restaurant parking lot, 1152 Southampton Road, operator of a tractor-trailer unit registered to the state Department of Transportation reports extensive damage to vehicle including bent windshield wiper arms, material put into oil filler and wires cuts, officer reports damage occurred while truck parked overnight, information taken;
9:10 a.m.: vandalism, Pioneer Valley Railroad rail yard, 1 Old Montgomery Road, passenger car sprayed with paint;
10:26 a.m.: property found, Sadie Knox Playgr0ound, 50 Prospect St., off-duty officer reports finding a bicycle near the baseball fields, officer reports bicycle brought to station;
11:24 a.m.: property found, 125 North Elm St., Mestek supervisor report finding a bicycle behind the Torrington Building near a commercial trash container and that it has been there for several weeks, officer reports bicycle brought to station;
12:41 p.m.: larceny, 420 Paper Mill Road, caller reports theft of an air compressor, weed whacker, and chainsaw, caller provided description of two male and their vehicle, incident remains under investigation;
1:57 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, arrest, Main Line Drive, patrol officer observed an invalid inspection sticker and stopped vehicle, operator, Daniel Santiago, 33, of 33 Montgomery Road was arrested for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle;
3:00 p.m.: property found, Orange Street, patrol officer reports finding a construction sign (road work 1500 feet ahead) on the ground at the corner of Conner Avenue, sign brought to the station;
3:57 p.m.: carbon monoxide check, Pineridge Drive, citizen came into fire headquarters to request firefighters check CO detectors, engine 2 dispatched, faulty detector found;
6:06 p.m.: motor vehicle collision, North Road, caller reports that she struck a bear cub with her vehicle, did not know if cub was injured, vehicle damaged, officer reports area search for cub negative, minor damage to front bumper of vehicle;
7:20 p.m.: narcotics violation, arrest 22 Charles St., search warrant executed, Guillermo G. Colon, 30, of that address arrested on three counts of possession of a class A drug with intent to distribute, and possession of a class D drug with intent to distribute;
7:28 p.m.: forgery, counterfeiting, Franklin Street, citizen came to the station to report that she loaned her vehicle to a female and left her checkbook in the vehicle, the reporting party said signatures were forged on two checks which were cashed for a total of $94.27, officer reports a criminal compliant was filed with the court charging the person who borrowed the vehicle with uttering a forged instrument and forgery;
7:53 p.m.: breaking and entering, larceny, Franklin Street, caller reports returning to his apartment and discovering items missing, officer reports that tools, a camera and special vehicle light were missing, but that other property may also have been taken, resident will compile a list of the missing property;
8:12 p.m.: disturbance, arrest, 200 East main St., caller reports that she was inside the Auto Zone when she became engaged in an altercation with another female in the parking lot, caller reports that the other female left, a male then came to that area and threatened the female with a knife, then left, a State Trooper from the Russell substation located the male suspect’s vehicle nearby and found a knife in his possession, James J. Martin, 26, of 26 Bowdin St., Palmer charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, to wit a knife;
9:21 p.m.: suspicious activity, arrest, Franklin Street, detectives request a patrol vehicle at this location to assist with a traffic stop, Brandon T. Barber, 25, of 4 Spring St., charged with possession of a class A drug and conspiracy to violate drug laws, vehicle towed from scene.
