WESTFIELD – Norma R. (Bishop) Gogal, 79, died Sunday, September 22, 2013 in Baystate Medical Center. She was born on February 11, 1934 in Westfield to the late Robert and Gladys (Noble) Bishop.
She was a lifelong resident and a 1952 graduate of Westfield High School. Norma worked in the Cafeteria at the Westfield Vocational High School for many years. She enjoyed ceramics and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
She leaves her children Richard J. Gogal of Westfield, Donald R. Gogal of Montgomery and Scott G. Gogal of Huntington; her sister, June Lynn Johnson of Westfield. She also leaves her grandchildren, Nathaniel, Matthew, Shawna and Jacob and a great granddaughter Makala.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, October 12th at 12 noon from the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. A calling hour will precede the service on Saturday morning from 11:00-12:00 noon.
