Charges filed against Joseph Kupau, 81, of 429 South St., West Suffield, Conn, by Southwick police for negligent operation of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and operating an uninsured motor vehicle were dismissed by the court because the defendant is deceased.
William Allen James, 49, of 129 Root Road, pleaded guilty to a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a license suspended for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and was sentenced to a 60 day term in the house of correction.
Alex D. Medina, 22, of 3 Fowler St., Westfield, was released on his personal recognizance pending a Dec. 6 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of larceny of property valued more than $250 brought by Westfield police.
