Emily E. Grimm, 32, of 11 Main St., Huntington, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant guilty findings for a charge of larceny of property valued more than $250 from a disabled person or a person older than 60-years-of age and five charges of charges uttering a false check and the charges were continued without a finding with probation for one year. She was assessed $90.
Matthew T. McSweeney, 27, of 342 Southwick Road, was released on his personal recognizance pending a Jan. 31 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of operating an unregistered motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license brought by Westfield police.
Deborah McNally, 34, of 90 McKinstry Ave., Chicopee, saw a charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle and a marked lanes violation not prosecuted after the Commonwealth discovered that the alleged infractions were caused by a medical condition.
Richard J. Wiley, 38, of 4 County Road, Huntington, saw a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license brought by Westfield police not prosecuted
Cassandra I. Roule, 19, of 175 Myrtle St., Springfield, was released on her personal recognizance pending a Feb. 7 hearing after she was arraigned on a charge of larceny of property valued more than $250 brought by Westfield State University police.
William Rojas, 26, of 1210 Russell Road, was released on his personal recognizance pending a Feb. 6 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and operating a motor vehicle without a valid inspection sticker brought by Westfield police. In a separate case also brought by Westfield Police, Rojas saw charges of assault and battery and intimidating a witness not prosecuted when the Commonwealth was not able to locate the named victim.
Kenneth Garrett, 42, of 44 Forest Ave., was released on his personal recognizance pending a Jan. 31 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of distribution of a Class B drug brought by Westfield police.
John Michael Gazda, 49, of 99 Martin St., Holyoke, saw charges of operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle without a valid inspection sticker and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle brought by Westfield Police not prosecuted due to insufficient evidence.
Nichole A. Riopelle, 23, of 23 Jasper Drive, was released on her personal recognizance pending a Jan. 31 hearing after she was arraigned on charges of operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration, operating a motor vehicle without a valid inspection sticker and operating an uninsured motor vehicle brought by Westfield police.
Jay W. Sandidge, 20, of 348 Elm St., was enjoined from making any threats or violence when he was released on his personal recognizance pending a Feb. 13 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of assault with a dangerous weapon brought by Westfield police.
Christopher J. Nelson, 32, of 35 Gerrard Lane, Chicopee, was placed on pretrial probation for six months and ordered to pay restitution of $33.94 at a hearing after his arraignment on a charge of larceny of property valued less than $250 brought by Westfield police.
Carol A. Besnia, 53, of 11 Monroe St., submitted to facts sufficient to warrant guilty findings for charges of assault and battery and police officer and resisting arrest brought by Westfield police and the charges were continued without a finding with probation for six months. She was assessed $50.
Angel D. Hernandez, 48, of 96 Mechanic St., pleaded guilty to a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and was placed on probation for one year. He was enjoined from making any threats or violence toward the victim, was ordered to stay away from the victim and was assessed $90.
