Michael Carrier, 19, of 129 Beaver St., Milford, was found to be responsible for a charge of operating the wrong way on a state highway brought by Westfield State University police and was assessed $20. A charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license was not prosecuted.
Anthony J. Montagna, 42, of 6 Sackett St., was released on $200 cash bail pending a July 30 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of assault and battery brought by Westfield police.
Melvin J. Snide, 53, of 11 Oak St., was released on his personal recognizance pending a July 9 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license brought by Westfield police.
David Fontanez, 24, of 868 Carew St., Springfield, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for three months. He was assessed $50.
Samuel M. Gendreau, 18, of 45 Hillcrest Circle, was released on his personal recognizance pending a July 30 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of possession a Class D drug with intent to distribute and a drug violation near a school or park brought by Westfield police.
Vanessa I. Fonseca, 31, of 50 Russell Road, saw charges of possession a Class A drug with intent to distribute, possession a Class B drug and conspiracy to violate drug laws brought by Westfield police dismissed after she was indicted and arraigned for the same offenses in Superior Court.
Scott T. Edelman Jr., 24, of 11 Jacob’s Way, South Hadley, was released on $5,000 personal surety pending a July 29 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of assault and battery, assault and battery on a person 60 years of age or older and aggravated assault and battery brought by Westfield police.
