WESTFIELD: Edward J. Dostal, 82, of Mission, Texas and of Westfield, Massachusetts, passed away on October 22, 2014 in Mission, TX. Born in Falmouth, MA, he was the son of the late Edward and Gwendolyn (Spofford), Dostal predeceased by his sister Jean Spencer. Ed is survived by his wife Marilyn of Mission, Texas, and son Michael and his wife Deborah of Westfield. Ed served our country with the United State Air Force during Korea from 1952-1956 as an Airman First Class. He owned and operated Dostal’s Dairy for many years. Ed and Marilyn spent many years traveling the country in their RV. Ed’s funeral will be held on Friday, November 14, 2014 with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM in St. Peter’s Church, 22 State St., Westfield followed by Burial with Military Honors in the Massachusetts Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St., Agawam. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 5-7 PM at the Firtion Adams Funeral Home, 76 Broad St., Westfield, MA.
