Emergency response and crime report
Monday, Dec. 22, 2014
1:06 a.m.: noise complaint, Southwick Road, caller is reporting a vehicle they do not recognize coming in and out of the parking lot making a lot of noise and that the vehicle is currently parked in back of their housing complex near the dumpsters, officer arrived and found a vehicle matching the description parked, which belonged to another tenant, officers cleared;
10:15 a.m.: traffic complaint, Southampton Road, caller reports a truck dragging a tailgate south bound on Southampton Road, area was searched by officers and concluded the truck driver must have fixed the tailgate and continued onward prior to their arrival;
11:11 a.m.: water department notification, Falcon Drive, caller reports a fire hydrant was knocked over, possibly by a tractor trailer, but no water is coming from the hydrant, water department has been notified and is looking into it, upon inspection, the hydrant was found laying in the woods and damage to it appears to be old, with no tracks indicating it occurred that day;
1:43 p.m.: accident, Springfield Road, caller reports they were involved in an accident but that the other vehicle is driving away and that they have no injuries at this time, victim pulled over in the plaza on Union Street, while the other vehicle continued westbound on Union Street;
2:22 p.m.: vandalism, Elm Street, caller reports two windows have been vandalized, that no entry was made into the building and that this has been an ongoing issue, upon arrival, officers concluded that sometime during the night time, a rock was thrown through the windows on the north side of the building, caller was advised to put up motion sensor lights or security cameras;
