WESTFIELD – Albert Lee Zander of Westfield, died on September 30th at Noble Hospital. He was born on August 5th, 1930 to Thyra and Albert Zander of Chicago, Illinois. Lee was an Army Veteran, and was educated at St. Olaf College, the University of Illinois, and the University of Wisconsin. He retired after thirty years of teaching at the University of Hartford.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Carol, daughter Jeanne Flynn, son Kurt and wife Christina, and son Steve and wife Amy, and five grandchildren: Courtney and John Flynn; Grace, Emily and Sarah Zander.
The funeral will be Wednesday, October 11th at eleven a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 1552 Westfield Street, West Springfield, MA. www.firtionadams.com
