Westfield – Annette F. (Salois) Brazee, 94, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2016 at Westfield Gardens. She was born in Central Falls, R.I. to the late Alfred and Roseanna (LaFleur) Salois. Annette worked as a traffic supervisor for 39 years for the City of Westfield and the Westfield Police Department. She was a member of the Pioneer Valley Square Dance Club and Saint Mary’s Confraternity of The Holy Rosary, and served on the board of the city’s Credit Union.
She was devoted to her family and offered love and care to all who needed her. Annette’s talents were many including gardening, sewing, knitting, canning, baking, crossword puzzles, genealogy research and home projects working alongside her beloved husband and best friend, Edward. She also loved spending summers at the family cottage in East Otis.
Annette was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Edward R. Brazee in 1990, and by her six siblings, William, Leo, Joseph, Raymond and Rene Salois and Doris Perz. She is survived by her loving children, Carol Edwards and her husband Francis, Robert Brazee and his wife Edwina and Gary Brazee and his wife Marie, all of Westfield, five cherished grandchildren, David Edwards, Diane Williams, Michael Edwards, Justin Brazee and Benjamin Brazee and a great grandson, Joshua Williams. A Funeral Home Service will be held on Friday at 11 AM in the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St. Westfield, MA 01085 followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, 203 Southampton Rd. Westfield. A Visiting hour will precede the service from 10-11 AM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Annette’s name may be directed to the American Cancer Society, 59 Bobala Rd.
