Huntington – Arthur W. “Tuffy” Pike, 93, (1922-2016) a retired Forklift Operator for Peck Lumber, died Saturday, July 2, 2016 in Baystate Medical Center with his loving family by his side. Born in Westfield on August 11, 1922, he was the son of the late, Ernest Pike, Sr. and Flora (Smith) Pike. He was a longtime resident of Huntington. He lived on the Pike farm in Littleville until he was married. He also worked at Mestek, Inc. in Westfield as a metal sheerer for eighteen years. Arthur leaves a son, Gary W. Pike and his wife Beverly of Wilbraham; a daughter, Kathy L Saucier and her husband George of Agawam; a granddaughter, Heather Lamerdin and her husband Bill of Reno, NV; three great grandchildren, Rebecca, Brook and Evan Lamerdin and his nieces and a nephew. He was predeceased by a brother, Ernest Pike, Jr. and a sister, Eleanor Pike. A calling hour will be held on Thursday, July 7th from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the O’Brien Hilltown Funeral Home, 27 Russell Road, Huntington, MA followed by a graveside service at Norwich Bridge Cemetery in Huntington.
