bankESB hires new Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer

Dena M. Hall of Westfield has been hired as Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer at bankESB.

EASTHAMPTON, MA –Matthew S. Sosik, President and CEO of bankESB, announced that Dena M. Hall has been hired as Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer.

Hall brings over 20 years of experience in bank marketing and community engagement, most recently serving as the Western Massachusetts Regional President and Chief Marketing Officer for United Bank based in Hartford, Connecticut. Hall specializes in brand strategy, demand generation product marketing, social media, customer satisfaction programs and community relations. In her new role, Hall will oversee the marketing and public relations efforts at both bankESB and bankHometown, as well as their charitable giving programs.

A graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Hall holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication and Journalism, and a minor in History. She then went on to graduate with honors from the Massachusetts School for Financial Studies and the National School of Banking and Finance at Fairfield University in Connecticut. She has also earned a certificate in fundraising from the University of Massachusetts School of Management.

Hall is the Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Baystate Health Foundation, engaging in fundraising efforts to support the hospital’s main campus in Springfield and its community hospitals including Baystate Noble Hospital in Westfield.  She is a member of the Springfield Museums Development and Membership Committee, the Capital Campaign Scheduling Committee of Greater Springfield and the Western MA Funders Forum.

Hall resides in Westfield, Massachusetts with her husband Eric and their children Gabriel and Marina.
