Westfield – Barbara J. (Williams) Phillips, 77, (1939-2017) passed away on April 19, 2017 in Baystate Medical Center. She was born in Rockville, CT to the late Clinton and Adeline (Golden) Williams. She was employed as a nurse’s assistant for Governors Center Nursing Home for many years. Barbara was predeceased by her beloved husband William A. Phillips, a brother Raymond Williams and a sister Linda Jewel. She is survived by her siblings, Robert C. Williams and his wife Rosa of Charlotte, NC, Patricia Warren of Springfield, Donna Stewart and her husband Benson of Springfield, Steven Phillips, Michael Phillips, Timothy Phillips, Adam Phillips, Leslie Philips, Jimmy Phillips, Nanci Phillips Race and Margaret “Betty” Hawkins, many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grandnephews, cousins and her special cousin Cookie Williams Crump.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 11AM in the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St. Westfield, followed by burial in Pine Hill Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 2-5PM in the funeral home. www.firtionadams.com.
