WESTFIELD – Beverly A. (Porter) Emard, 83, passed away at home on Friday, June 24, 2022. She was born in Westfield to the last Kenneth and Sarah Porter. She grew up in Westfield and was a graduate of Westfield High School. She was a career medical secretary, working with the Family Medicine Associates and Dr. Paul Lagac.
Beverly was predeceased by her beloved husband Walter J. Emard in 2009, and is survived by her daughters Michelle Ouimet and her husband Christopher of Shrewsbury, MA, and Sherry Fusco and her husband Franco of Ramsey, NJ. She was the greatest Memere of all to her grandchildren, Ashley Pustis and her husband Christopher, Zachery Schleicher and his wife Megan, Jeffery Ouimet and his wife Mariela, James Schleicher and his wife Alegra, and Lyndsey Ouimet. She was so proud to be Grand-Memere to CJ Pustis, Jordan, Anthony and Hailey Schleicher, and Theodore Schleicher.
Beverly is predeceased by her brothers, Calvin, Gilbert and Kenneth Porter.
Calling hours will be Monday, June 27, 2022, at 12:00 PM with a service immediately following at 1:00 PM at the Firtion-Adams Funeral Home, 76 Broad Street, Westfield followed by burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Southampton Road in Westfield.
