WESTFIELD – Beverly J. Storey, 71, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2012, at the Westfield Care and Rehabilitation. Born in Westfield on October 1, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Vera (Woodard) Gamache.Beverly was a lifelong resident of Westfield and graduated from Westfield High School in 1958. She held many jobs with the most recent being a cigarette representative for Liggett Co. and working at Goodies Convenience in Agawam.
Beverly lost the love of her life John T. Storey in 1976. She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Allen Hackett from Russell; two daughters, Karen Barry, Kristene Sporbert and her husband Stephen, both from Westfield. Beverly also leaves one brother, John Gamache; two sisters, Ellen Cornelius and Theresa Garcia, all from Westfield. She is predeceased by her siblings, William and Charlie Gamache. Beverly will be deeply missed by her five grandchildren, Bryan, Amber, Brianna, Timmy, and Cameren. The family would like to thank the wonderful nurses and aides at Westfield Care and Rehab and Sol Amor Hospice.
Funeral Services will take place Tuesday, November 27th at the Robert E. Cusack Funeral Home, 94 Main Street, Westfield at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, also in Westfield. Calling hours are Monday, November 26th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Beverly, to the Dakin Pioneer Valley Humane Society, 171 Union Street, Springfield.
