WESTFIELD – Bryce A. Lacus passed away at his home in Westfield on January 29, 2023, as a result of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). He was born in Springfield on November 7, 2022, to Laura A. McMordie and Robert E. Lacus, both of Westfield.
Although his time on this earth was short, Bryce brought us all such joy and touched so many lives. He was loved deeply by those around him and will be greatly missed. His family cherishes his memory as the brief gift it was.
Besides his parents, Bryce leaves behind two brothers, Braydon and Benjamin of Westfield; his maternal grandparents, Cheryl McMordie of Westfield and John McMordie of Agawam; his paternal grandparents, Linda Krause of Chicopee and Robert Lacus of Belchertown; his step-grandfather, Brian Raco of Westfield; and two very special aunts, Allison McMordie of Westfield and Sarah McMordie of Walpole, MA.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial to be held in Pine Hill Cemetery at a later date. Firtion Adams Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. Memorial donations in Bryce’s name can be made to the American SIDS Institute.
