WESTFIELD: Camille Joyal Darling, 94, passed away at home Saturday, July 11, 2015. She was born in Springfield to the late Henry and Victorine (Lussier) Joyal. She attended AIC, and took flying lessons in an open cockpit plane. During World War II she helped the war effort by working at American Bosch. During the 1950‘s Camille, Robert and Martin lived in the Phillipines for 15 years and traveled around the world several times. Following that she worked as a waitress for over 20 years and became the banquet manager for Storrowton Tavern in West Springfield. She loved to read and loved her cats, helping many strays over the years. Camille is survived by her two loving sons, Paul J. Darling of Westfield, and Martin H. Darling and his wife Victoria of Longview, WA, and her two cherished grandchildren, Will and Katie Darling. A Memorial wake will be held on Monday from 4-7 PM in the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St. Westfield, MA.
