WESTFIELD: Carol S. (Hansen) Lawson. 81, passed away on September 15, 2015 at the Renaissance Manor at Westfield. She was born in Granville to the late Karl S. and Mary D. (Jensen) Hansen and was a 1953 graduate of Westfield High School. Carol worked as a bus driver for the Westfield School System for 33 years, retiring in 1998. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Westfield, she volunteered at the Council on Aging, a member of the Hampden Village Association and the Barnes NCO Club Wives Club. Carol is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Thomas W. Lawson, her loving sons, Karl I. Lawson and Wade A. Lawson and his wife Robyn, all of Westfield, her sister Joyce Crandell and her husband Basil of Ludlow, her cherished granddaughters, Alena and Laurel, and her great grandchildren, Evelyn, Grayson and Caroline. A Committal Service will be held on Tuesday at 9 AM in the chapel of the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery 1390 Main St. Agawam. There are no visiting hours.
