WILBRAHAM – Caroline A. (Grochmal) Danek, 101, died Monday, March 4, 2013 in Wilbraham. Born and raised in Chicopee, Caroline was a former longtime resident of Westfield. She also resided in Three Rivers for several years. She was a communicant of Holy Trinity Church, Westfield.
Caroline leaves two sons, Joseph Danek Jr. of Springfield and Jacob J. Danek of Three Rivers; two sisters, Lynn Smargie of Chicopee and Helen Szenda of Agawam; three granddaughters, five great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Caroline was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Danek and her daughter Mary Perrault.
A visiting hour will be held Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the Robert E. Cusack Funeral Home, 94 Main Street, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 a.m. in Holy Trinity Church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, all in Westfield.
