Charlie C. Kenyon Jr., 83, of Montgomery, Mass. fell asleep in death February 9, 2020. The son of the late Charlie C. Kenyon Sr. and Rose Warren Kenyon, Charlie was an ordained minister of Jehovah’s Witnesses who supported his ministry and family as a carpenter. He loved his wife of 63 years Mae Kandal Kenyon and daughter Ada Landery of Palmer, grandchildren Benjamin Gauthier of Berwick, Maine., Caitlin Gauthier of Easthampton, Aulani , Lili and Kiele Cousman of Westfield and great grandchildren Maximus Charlie and Evangeline Gauthier of Maine, brother Gary Kenyon of North Adams, sisters Myrna Lavallee of Blandford and Betty Lou Albert of Belchertown. He was predeceased by his brother Jonathan and grandson Andrew Gauthier. Charlie loved reading and studying the Bible then sharing what he read with others. He also took great delight in volunteering to build places of worship for Jehovah’s Witnesses. It is with heartfelt thanks to members all three congregations in Westfield who lovingly went out of their way to help Charlie in his last days, some of whom were often mistaken as sons by healthcare workers for when they were ever needed. A Memorial Service for Charlie will be held Saturday, Feb. 22 at 1 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses located at 117 Southwick Road, Westfield, Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations in Charlie’s memory may be made to JW.org or the Westfield Kingdom Hall. Job 14:15 “You will call and I will answer you, You will long for the work of your hands.”
