PALM SPRINGS, FL – Chris Diamond of Palm Springs Florida passed into eternal rest on December 26th, 2024 after a courageous battle with ALS.
Chris graduated from Southwick High School in 1975, and at an early age decided to move to Florida with his wife Marcia and their family where he remained the rest of his years.
Chris leaves his devoted wife Marcia (Whitfield) Diamond, his son Christopher, daughter Kelley and granddaughter Chiara, his beloved mother Carol Diamond of Southwick, brother Wayne Diamond and nephew Nigel Diamond of Cape Cod, uncles Mike Caputo of Worthington MA, and Pat Caputo of Hudson FL and brother-in-law Warren Schiffer of NY, lifelong friends Peggy Lis-Barone and family and Tyron Cote of Southwick, as well as many cousin and friends.
He leaves his father Wayne N. Diamond of Virginia.
Chris was predeceased by his loving grandmother Beatrice Caputo and his beloved sister Toni Diamond Schiffer who also passed from ALS.
His acceptance of his affliction did little to change Chris’ wonderful outlook, his funny sense of humor and always his interest in the “other guy.” He loved sharing old stories, asking about everyone’s life and celebrating good news about his family and friends. He was totally grateful for the love and support of his wife, his children, granddaughter and his mom and brother, his nephew and brother-in-law. Thankfulness was Chris’ middle name. There was never a time while face timing with Chris or speaking with him that he did not leave you laughing and feeling better about yourself and life. He was a true gift to all that loved him.
There will be a service in Florida on February 17th, 2024 celebrating Chris and his love of life.
