WESTFIELD – Westfield Public Schools last week distributed over 1,000 chrome books and more than 100 instruments curbside to families for their students to use and practice at home.
Westfield High School Principal Charles Jendrysik said on Friday the pick-up for families who had responded to a survey saying they needed the devices, was going “extremely well.”
“It’s allowed us to see people and have conversations with parents,” Jendrysik said. He said people were in good spirits, appreciative and kind.
WHS Band Director Patrick Kennedy was also on hand, to distribute 80 instruments to the band members.
