Toni Coffin was feted in honor of her 70th birthday by many friends, family and fellow teachers. Mrs. Coffin taught kindergarten for many years in Russell and later, Huntington, and is remembered for her famous Tea Parties. In keeping with the surprise birthday party, guests wore hats, gloves, jewelry and were treated to a tea party served Italian style at the Russell Inn, in celebration of Toni’s maiden name, Campofredano.
