PITTSFIELD – Chester artist Michele Klemaszewski Kenney will exhibit her work as part of an Artist Residency Nov. 12-15 in Pittsfield.
The event is hosted by Veterans Outreach Centers of Mass Inc. and includes daily events benefiting Veterans of Berkshire County at 505 East St., Suite 103, Pittsfield.
Klemaszewski Kenney’s exhibition, titled “Collateral Damage,” features woodcut prints illustrating poems by her stepfather, Vietnam veteran Damon Bazzeghin. The show will be on display Nov. 12, 2019 to Feb. 12, 2020 with an opening reception Nov. 12 from 1-2 p.m. followed by an informational session explaining the benefits of Art Therapy for Veterans from 2-2:30 p.m.
On Nov. 13, the Warrior’s Art Room of Westfield will present a hands-on workshop titled “Unlocking your Inner Creativity through Interpreting Your Own Art” from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. The workshop is free, but space is limited and advance registration is recommended.
