WESTFIELD: Concetta M Santangelo, 81, of Westfield, MA passed away peacefully on May 25, 2016. Born in Augusta, Sicily, she was daughter of Salvatore Peluso and Giusepina Pustizzi. She was predeceased by her mother and raised by her Aunt Carmela from the age of 3. Concetta was a wonderful, loving and caring person that enjoyed helping others in need and always put others before herself. Her dedication to helping others was deeply expressed during her successful career as a Certified Nursing Assistant for almost three decades. She was an amazing cook and enjoyed gardening. She is predeceased by her sister Josephina Peluso. She is survived by her children, Diane Santangelo, of Northampton, MA, David Santangelo, of Springfield, Deborah Santangelo, husband Jim Hayes of Miami, FL, Mark Santangelo, wife Michelle of Westfield, MA, Grandchildren Jacob and Julia Santangelo, Sister Martha Morello and husband Joe of Chelmsford, MA, brother John Peluso and wife Gloria of Colorado Springs, CO. Calling hours will be from 11-1 p.m. on Saturday June 4th at Firtion Adams Funeral Home, 76 Broad Street in Westfield. A service will be held at 1 p.m. and burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery in Westfield.
