Steven M. Bovat, 59, of 49 Ridgeway Street, Westfield, pleaded guilty to operating under the influence of liquor. Fees and fines were issued. Bovat was ordered to remain under probation until August 21, 2013. The Commonwealth did not pursue a charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle. He was also found not responsible for a marked lanes violation.
Michael P. Linnell, 26, of 7 Free Street, Westfield, was arraigned on a charge of larceny over $250. Linnell posted $500 cash bail. Fees were assessed. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for September 11, 2012.
