Gregory A. Brant, 41, of 9 Crown St., Westfield, was released on personal recognizance pending a Nov. 15 hearing after being arraigned on charges of operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, brought by Westfield Police.
Lorenzo Solla, 23, of 295 Orange St., Springfield, received an 18-month sentence to House of Corrections, suspended with probation until Nov. 25, along with a concurrent six-month sentence after pleading guilty to intimidating a witness, juror, police officer or court official, criminal harassment and two counts of violating a abuse prevention order, brought by Westfield Police.
