Shaniqua Owens, 24, of 944 Worthington Street, Springfield, was arraigned on charges of assault and battery of a household/family member and strangulation or suffocation brought by Westfield Police. She was held in lieu of $250 bail and is due back in court on January 22, 2015.
Matthew Flynn, 27, of 53 Crown Street, was arraigned on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license brought by State Police. He was released on his personal recognizance and is due back in court on February 4, 2015.
Michael Valdes, 22, of 4 St. Paul Street, appeared in court on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license brought by Westfield Police, which the court chose not to prosecute.
John Serra, 43, of 13 Wood Street, Southwick, admitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and negligent operation of a motor vehicle brought by Southwick Police. The charges were continued without a finding until December 23, 2015.
Angel Adorno, 31, of 148 Taylor Street, Springfield, was arraigned on a charge of larceny over $250 brought by Westfield Police. He was held in lieu of $1,000 personal surety and is due back in court on February 2, 2015.
