Carlos O. Noel, 18, of no fixed address in Westfield, saw charges of unarmed robbery, assault and battery with serious bodily injury and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon dismissed after he was arraigned and indicted for the same offenses in superior court. Sein III, 22, of no fixed address in Massachusetts, saw charges of unarmed robbery, assault and battery with serious bodily injury and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon dismissed after he was arraigned and indicted for the same offenses in superior court. Andrew M. McGuire, 22, of 43 Matoon St., Springfield, saw a charge of assault and battery with serious bodily injury dismissed after he was arraigned and indicted for the same offense in superior court. See story in the March 14 edition of The Westfield News.
Joseph S. Boyer, 30, of 25 Chapel St., Westfield, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of larceny of property valued less than $250 brought by Westfield police and was placed on probation for six months. He was assessed $50.
Krystal L. Wilder, 21, was released on her personal recognizance pending an April 27 hearing after she was arraigned on charges of distribution of a Class A substance, conspiracy to violate drug laws, possession of heroin and a drug violation near a school or park brought by Westfield police.
Dominic C. Mespelli, 21, of 8 Florence Circle, Upton, was released on his personal recognizance pending a May 11 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of larceny from a building, larceny of property valued less than $250 and disorderly conduct brought by Westfield State University police.
Mitchell L. Dobek, 26, of 52 Oakcrest Drive, Westfield, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of leaving the scene of property damage brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for six months. He was assessed $50 and found to be not responsible for a state highway traffic violation.
William A. Phillips, 42, of 3 Jefferson St., Westfield, was released on $500 personal surety pending a May 8 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of assault and battery brought by Westfield police.
Kalpits S. Patel, 27, of 50 Russell Road, Westfield, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for one year. He was assessed $600 and his license was suspended for 45 days. A charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle was not prosecuted.
