Heitor J. Cuevas, 34, of 72 Crane Ave., Westfield, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, a subsequent offense, brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for three months. He was assessed $50 and was ordered to complete 10 hours of community service. He was found to be not responsible for a charge of operating motor vehicle at a speed exceeding the posted limit. In a second case brought by Russell police, Cuevas again submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, a subsequent offense, and the charge was again complete 10 hours of community service. He was found to be not responsible for charges of possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and operating motor vehicle at a speed exceeding the posted limit.
Aaron F. Smith, 34, of 50 Flynn Meadow Road, Westfield, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for one year. He was assessed $600 and his license was suspended for 45 days. He was found to be not responsible for a charge of speeding at a rate exceeding the posted limit and a marked lanes violation. A charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle was dismissed at the request of the Commonwealth and the defendant.
Jeffrey D. Krawczyk, 31, of 32 Stuart Place, was released on his personal recognizance pending a Feb. 7, 2020 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of inhaling a toxic substance brought by Westfield police.
Andrii Ptytsia, 31, of 100 Russell Road, Westfield, was released on his personal recognizance pending a Feb. 26, 2020 hearing after he was arraigned on two charges of threatening to commit a crime and a single charge of criminal harassment brought by Westfield police.
