MacKenzie B. Hamblin, 27, of 44 Dublin St., Chicopee, pleaded guilty to charges of possession of a Class A drug and possession of a Class B drug brought by Westfield police and was sentenced to two six month terms in the house of correction (with credit for time served) be served concurrently with a sentence imposed by Chicopee District Court in another case.
Vitaliy L. Dipon, 28, of 96 Kings Highway, West Springfield, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant guilty findings for charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs and possession of heroin brought by Southwick police and the charges were continued without a finding with probation for one year. He was assessed $600, a charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle was dismissed at the request of the Commonwealth and he was found to be not responsible for a marked lanes violation.
Shane A. Mineau, 24, of 114 Meadow St., Apt. 1, Westfield, pleaded guilty to a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor, a subsequent offense, brought by State Police and was placed on probation for two years. He was assessed $300, ordered to complete a 14-day in-patient driver alcohol education program and his license was suspended for two years. Charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs, a subsequent offense, were not prosecuted and he was found to be not responsible for a charge of operating a motor vehicle without a valid inspection sticker.
Felix A. Hernandez, 36, of 282 Central St., #2L, Springfield, pleaded guilty of a charge of possession of a Class E drug brought by Westfield police and was placed on probation for a year. He also submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of possession of a Class B drug with intent to distribute and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for a year. He was assessed $50 and ordered to forfeit $965 cash and two cell phones which had been in his possession when he was arrested.
Brenda M. Moran, 53, of 550 South Quarter Road, Russell, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for one year. She was assessed $300, a charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle was not prosecuted and she was found to be not responsible for a marked lanes violation.
Tyler M. Phillips, 22, of 46 Jefferson St., Westfield, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of assault and battery brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for six months. He was assessed $300 and ordered to complete an anger management program.
