Christopher E. Smola, 37, of 45 Pleasant St., Westfield, was released on his personal recognizance pending an April 6 hearing after being arraigned on a charge of assault and battery, brought by Westfield Police.
Kelly A. Alamed, 33, of 200 Southwick Road, Westfield, had charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery on a family or household member dropped, originally brought by Westfield Police.
