Deborah A. Mitus, 52, of 44 Birch St., Ludlow, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for one year. She was assessed $350, ordered to complete a Drug Alcohol Education Program and her license was suspended for 45 days. A charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle was not prosecuted and she was found to be not responsible for a charge of failure to stop or yield.
Mckinley Quarles, 21, of 73 Silver St., Springfield, was sentenced to time served awaiting trial for each of two charges of violation of an abuse prevention order brought as separate cases by Westfield police.
Derek W. Webb, 21, of 44 Mechanic St., was held in lieu of $500 cash bail after the was arraigned on a charge of assault and battery brought by Westfield police.
Nathaniel J. Lami, 31, of 50 Southampton Road, saw charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, operating a motor vehicle without a valid inspection sticker and speeding brought by State Police not prosecuted. In a separate case brought by Westfield police, two charges of distributing obscene material and charges of statutory rape of a child, reckless endangerment of a child, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, lascivious posing or exhibiting a child in the nude, indecent assault and battery on a person more than 14 years of age and possession of child pornography were dismissed after he was arraigned and indicted on the same charges in superior court.
Antonio S. Cannizzaro, 52, of 108 Skyline Trail, Chester, saw a charge of assault and battery brought by State Police not prosecuted.
Roseanna A. Duclos, 53, of 5 Murphy Circle, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of larceny of property valued less than $250 brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for six months. She was assessed $50.
Maurice Lessard, 37, of 19 McKinley Terrace, was placed on pretrial probation for one year after he was arraigned on charges of breaking and entering a building in the daytime with intent to commit a felony and larceny of property valued more than $250 brought by Westfield police.
Robert W. Gilmet, 46, of 33 Atwater St., was ordered to stay away from and have no contact with the alleged victim and was held in lieu of $1,000 cash bail after he was arraigned on charges of breaking and entering with intent to commit a misdemeanor and trespass brought by Westfield police.
William J. Emerson, 38, of 128 N. Westfield St., Feeding Hills, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of indecent assault and battery on a person more than 14 years of age brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for 18 months. He was assessed $90.
Ashley M. Holmes, 30, of 62 Ridgecrest Drive, was released on her personal recognizance pending a Sept. 11 hearing after she was arraigned on a charge of larceny of property valued more than $250 from a victim more than 60 years-of-age brought by Westfield police.
Craig Centrucchio, 27, of 47 Broad St., submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of shoplifting by asportation brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for one month. He was assessed $50.
