Derek J. Mcdougall, 21, of 27 Greenwood St., was released on his personal recognizance pending an Aug. 22 hearing after he was arraigned on charges operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, improper operation of a motor vehicle and a state highway traffic violation brought by Westfield police.
Pablo A. Baez, 41, of 6 Cycle St., was released on his personal recognizance pending an Aug. 22 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of assault and battery brought by Westfield police.
Omer O. Cormier, 75, of Old New England Path, Russell, was held in lieu of $1,000 cash bail pending an Aug. 15 hearing in each of two cases brought by Westfield police after he was arraigned on charges of violation of an abuse prevention order.
Matthew P. Siska, 31, of 129 Prospect Street Extension, was released on his personal recognizance pending an Aug. 30 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor brought by Westfield police.
Paul L. Phillips Jr., 40, of 411 Montgomery Road, pleaded guilty to charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license (a subsequent offense) and a marked lanes violation brought by Westfield police and was sentenced to two concurrent six month terms in the house of correction with credit for time served. Charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor, receiving a stolen motor vehicle and larceny of a motor vehicle were not prosecuted.
Emily E. Grimm, 32, of 122 E. River Road, Chester, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for one year. She was assessed $350, ordered to complete a Drug Alcohol Education Program at a cost of $817.22 and her license was suspended for 45 days. A charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle was not prosecuted and she was found to be not responsible for a charge of speeding nor for a marked lanes violation.
Jeffrey C. Manley, 37, of 21 Summit Drive, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant guilty findings for charges of disorderly conduct and trespass brought by Westfield police and the charges were continued without a finding with probation for three months. He was assessed $200 and a charge of threatening to commit a crime was not prosecuted.
