Oleg Novenko, 21, of 167 Apple Blossom Lane, was found not guilty in a jury trial of a charge of operating under the influence of liquor brought by Westfield police. He was found to be responsible for a charge of operating a motor vehicle without a valid inspection sticker and was assessed $50.
Anthony E. William, 28, of 8 Cycle St., pleaded guilty to charges of disturbing the peace and resisting arrest brought by Westfield police and was fined $250. He was assessed $50.
Anthony G. Ortona, 17, of 140 Chestnut St., submitted to facts sufficient to warrant guilty findings for charges of failure to stop or yield and resisting arrest brought by Westfield police and the charges were continued without a finding with probation for one year. He was assessed $90. A charge of assault and battery on a police officer was not prosecuted. In a separate case also brought by Westfield police, Ortona submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of breaking and entering a building in the nighttime with intent to commit a felony and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for six months. He was assessed $90.
Laurie J. Provost, 43, of 37 Lyndale St., Springfield, saw charges of larceny of property valued more than $250 and larceny of property valued more than $250 by a single scheme dismissed due to insufficient evidence.
Kathy Doane, 48, of 250 Granville Road, Southwick, was placed on pretrial probation for one month after she was arraigned on a charge of assault and battery brought by a Southwick resident.
Kayla Gotay, 20, of 93 S. Maple St., was enjoined from making any threats or violence toward the alleged victim when she was released on her personal recognizance pending a June 6 hearing after she was arraigned on a charge of assault and battery brought by Westfield police.

Kari S. Sagan, 34, of 69 Lakeview St., Southwick, was released on her personal recognizance pending a May 16 hearing after she was arraigned on a charge of operating an uninsured motor vehicle brought by State Police.
Leona M. Merkel, 31, of 12 Chapman St., Chicopee, pleaded guilty to a charge of attempting to commit a crime brought by Westfield police and was sentenced to a six month term in the house of correction, suspended, with probation for one year. She was assessed $50.
Anthony B. Cortesi, 28, of 19 Veteran St., Southwick, was enjoined from making any threats or violence toward the alleged victim when he was released on his personal recognizance pending a June 6 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of assault and battery and possession of a Class E drug brought by Westfield police.
Carlos M. Dejesus, 17, of 131 Meadow Street, was released on his personal recognizance pending a June 6 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of vandalizing property and a miscellaneous statutory violation brought by Westfield police.
Adam J. Toporowski, 31, of 21 Ellsworth St., was held in lieu of $100 cash bail pending an April 19 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of larceny of property valued more than $250 by a singe scheme, two charges of misuse of a credit card for value more than $250 and three charges of misuse of a credit card for value less than $250 brought by Westfield police.
Gina M. Loughery, 32, of 11 Jeffrey Circle, Southwick, was released on her personal recognizance pending a June 6 hearing after she was arraigned on a charge of possession of a Class A drug brought by Westfield police.
Jacob H. Stiles, 22, of 192 Abbot Hill Road, Chester, was released on his personal recognizance pending a May 16 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of operating under the influence of liquor, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle brought by Westfield police.
Megan E. Pianki, 28, of 216 Halliday Drive, West Suffield, Conn., saw a charge of assault and battery brought by Southwick police dismissed at the request of the victim.
Elaina M. Richter, 32, of 1144 Elm St., West Springfield, was released on her personal recognizance pending a June 6 hearing after she was arraigned on charges of breaking and entering with intent to commit a misdemeanor and larceny of property valued less than $250 brought by Southwick police.
